Jennifer Kircher, LMHC, began her career at the Brien Center in 2019 when she was named Program Director of the agency’s Child and Adolescent Division. In 2021, Jennifer was elevated to Assistant Division Director of the Adult and Family Services Division, where she supervised the day-to-day functions of the division, including outpatient mental health and substance use services county-wide. In addition, she provided clinical and administrative supervision to program management supervisors and directors, among other responsibilities. She was named Division Director in 2023.
Jennifer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Psychology, Cum Laude, from Western New England University, followed by a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College Lynch Graduate School of Education. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in both New York and Massachusetts, and received a post-graduate certificate in the Treatment of Trauma from Boston University School of Social Work.
Prior to coming to the Brien Center, Jennifer served in a variety of clinical positions at the Old Colony Y in Brockton, MA from 2010 to 2019, including contracts with the Department of Youth Services, Department of Housing and Community Development and lastly as Director of the Mental Health Clinic. She also served as a Guidance Assistant for the Boston Public Schools.
